Cavid Cabbarzade

He is the first European Facial Plastic Surgery Academy Board certified surgeon from Azerbaijan. His main interest is focused on aesthetic, functional as well as reconstructive nasal surgery.

In 2018 he organized the first International Rhinoplasty Meeting - Baku Rhinoplasty Days in medical history of Azerbaijan.
He is regularly invited as lecturer all over the world for giving a talk about aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty. He is a member of many national and international societies.

Jay Calvert

Dr. Jay Calvert is a certified plastic surgeon. He has a practice in Beverly Hills and Orange County, California. Dr. Calvert performs all types of plastic surgery and specializes in aesthetic surgery. His research interests include face-lifting, rhinoplasty, and breast augmentation.

Dr. Calvert has developed new techniques for rhinoplasty and aesthetic surgery of the face, as well as a non-invasive endoscopic facelift technique. He is a renowned expert in revision rhinoplasty. Dr. Calvert is a member of the Rhinoplasty Society, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.

Jay Calvert is probably the best-known student and follower of the famous American surgeon, author of the monograph Mastering Rhinoplasty, Rollin K. Daniel. The two have co-authored several articles about diced cartilage wrapped in temporal fascia, including Daniel, RK, Calvert, JW, Diced Cartilage Grafts in Rhinoplasty Surgery. Baris Cakir

He became a Plastic Surgery specialist In December 2004. After expertise, with the aim to achieve more successful results in plastic surgery, he became interested in sculpture and art history. He studied Fine Art Sculpture in Suleyman Demirel University, and continued this education on the Fine Arts and sculpture in İnonu University, Malatya. He worked with Michael Esson regarding model and pattern studies. He worked in Istanbul Memorial Hospital between 2007-2010.

He is working as a private surgeon in his office at Abdi Ipekci and doing surgeries in American Hospital. Rhinoplasty consists 100% of his surgical practice.
He wrote a book named “Aesthetic Septorhinoplasty” by Springer.

Nuri Celik

Nuri A. Celik completed his plastic surgery training in Istanbul University Hospitals in 1994. He was a plastic surgery fellow with Dr. Carraway at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk from 1994 to 1995. He studied brachial plexus and facial nerve surgery as a microsurgery fellow at Baylor College of Medicine between 1995-1997. He did a one-year craniofacial surgery fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin before he returned to Istanbul, Turkey to start his private practice.

He lectures on rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation, blepharoplasty and canthoplasty internationally. He is currently the Turkish National Delegate of ISAPS and has served as a Visiting Professor in India. He is in private practice.

Nazim Cerkes

Richard E. Davis
(USA)

MD, FACS. He is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery) and has served as an Oral Board examiner for both organizations on numerous occasions.

Davis is presently a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), and American Academy of Otolaryngology. He has also been elected to serve as Southern Regional Director on the Board of Directors for the AAFPRS and its educational foundation. Dr. Davis is also a member of several other respected medical, surgical and professional organizations.

In 1999, he was promoted to Associate Professor and appointed Division Chief for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. One year later, he was also appointed Director of the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In 2007, Dr. Davis founded The Center for Facial Restoration, where he currently serves as the medical director. Although now in private practice, Dr. Davis remains active in the teaching of facial plastic surgery at the state, national, and international levels and continues to serve as Director of UM’s Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Voluntary Professor of Otolaryngology. During his nearly 15 years at the University, he garnered numerous awards for teaching and clinical medicine and personally trained scores of young surgeons in the art and science of facial plastic surgery. Нis research in three-dimensional imaging of facial and cranial birth defects received first place honors from the Triological Society's Southern Section. Dr. Davis also received the UNC Womack Surgical Scholarship award for "excellence in teaching, research, and patient care". In 1992, Dr. Davis began training at Oregon Health Sciences University, one of the nation's most respected Fellowships in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Later that year, he also won the Harold Delf Gillies Research Award for his work in wound healing.

Charles East

MB, FRCS. Charles is extremely experienced in aesthetic and functional plastic surgery of the nose (nose jobs, rhinoplasty) and is also an expert in nasal and sinus disease and how to treat it.

He is lead clinician for the Rhinoplasty service at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital and is also part of the craniofacial surgery team at University College Hospital Foundation Trust. He is also Consultant Surgeon at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. His academic work includes being Honorary Senior lecturer post at University College London and he is course director for the University’s Plastic Surgery of the Nose and Techniques in Facial Plastic Surgery courses, which attract an audience from around the world.

He has served as UK Vice President of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and regularly lectures at national and international meetings. He has also been a faculty member at the Royal College of Surgeons for minimally invasive sinus surgery courses and is current Chairman of Facial Plastic Surgery UK, a committee at the Royal College, and is a specialty adviser to National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). The extremely successful textbook, Ear Nose and Throat – Head and Neck Surgery was co-authored by Charles and he has also written chapters in the British national textbook “Scott – Brown’s Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery”. His expert writing on Rhinoplasty, nasal surgery and sinus problems is published regularly and maintains clinical contacts in many countries to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and treatments from around the world. He is currently a board member of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe and an active member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Wolfgang Gubisch

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. med. habil Dr. h. c. W. Gubisch is double-boarded qualified as Plastic Surgeon as well as ENT-Surgeon. Since 1988 he has been Head of the Clinic of Plastic Surgery, which is the oldest and one of the largest institutions for plastic surgery in Germany. In 2001, the clinic was separated into three independent highly specialized clinics, and Prof. Gubisch became the Head of the Clinic of Facial Plastic surgery.

His main interest is focused on aesthetic, functional as well as reconstructive nasal surgery. He regularly is invited as lecturer all over the world and guides courses for aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty to demonstrate his surgical techniques.

He has written more than 180 scientific publications and has produced several educational films. Furthermore, he is holding the gold medal of the All India Rhinology Society for special achievements in rhinosurgery. In July 2011 he got the honorary doctor award from the University of Athens for his intensive activities in teaching facial plastic surgery.

Bahman Guyuron
(USA)

Dr. Guyuron is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, ECFMG, FLEX, MD, FACS.

He is a member of 19 professional organizations. Dr. Guyuron has served in leadership roles in numerous professional organizations in plastic surgery, including the American Board of Plastic Surgery where he served as a director from 2005-2011. Sebastian Haack

Dr. Sebastian Haack is a board certified plastic surgeon and is exclusively working on the face. Since the beginning of 2014 he is the leading senior physician and locum of Prof. Gubisch.

His main interest is primary, secondary and reconstructive rhino-surgery. In this center nearly 50% percent of the rhinoplasty patients are secondary cases operated elsewhere. Another focus is the treatment of skin cancer patients with surgical approaches, which should help to minimize the risk for the patients to be stigmatized after surgery. Thereby again the nose is in the focus of interest. The clinic for facial plastic surgery in Stuttgart is the leading department for total, autogenous reconstruction of the nose in Germany. He gives lectures nationally and internationally. He has written book chapters and published in peer reviewed magazines.

Dr. Toriumi attended Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed a five-year residency training program in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Toriumi also completed two fellowship training programs in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tulane University Hospital (Dr. Calvin Johnson, Jr., MD.) and the University of Washington in Seattle (Dr. Wayne F. Larrabee, MD.).

Dr. Toriumi joined the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago since July of 1989. He is a full professor in the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
