The traditional AESTHETIC BREAST AND BODY CONTOURING October course ended in St. Petersburg. This year, the AASURGERY team decided to hit an all-time record, broadcasting 7 live surgeries for15 hours, offering over 25 hours of expert lectures, and gathering over 330 participants on one venue. Even the early start at 5 a.m. didn't scare off plastic surgeons who packed the room full eager to gain new knowledge. A video session with top surgeons’ comments, initially designed as an addition to the course has become an integral part of it over the past two years; it attracted particular attention and gave rise to heated discussions. The program also featured a roundtable on the prevention and treatment of intimate surgery complications, as well as discussion club Mammoplasty: Complex Cases with Adel Bark Jr., an affiliate program by InnFort.
Course Director Vitaly Zholtikov and co-director Vladimir Golovatinsky brought together 43 world-class lecturers for the program. Natalia Manturova, Adel Bark Jr, Alexander Aslani, Timo Bartels, Massimiliano Brambilla, Daniel Del Vecchio, Patrick Mallucci, Carlos Manfrim, Constantino Mendieta, Cemal Senyuva, Spero Theodorou, Levon Aramyan, Maxim Barsakov, Vyacheslav Vasiliev, Svetlana Gagarina, Vladimir Golovatinsky, Hasan Gubaidulin, Alexander Drevetsky, Artur Ismagilov, Vladimir Karasev, Tatiana Kachanova, Natalya Korableva, Artem Korobov, Ilona Kochneva, Kazbek Kudzaev, Anton Lesnyakov, Evgeny Leshunov, Mikhail Malanichev, Astemir Marzhokhov, Dmitry Melnikov, Vasilij Nikitin, Anton Orlov, Elena Piskunova, Alla Poberezhnaya, David Poghosyan, Akhmed Rakhimov, Evgenii Savelyev, Samir Sedishev, Marya Ushmaeva, Rustam Halilullin, Andrey Khotyan, Valentin Sharobaro, and Vitaly Zholtikov were glad to participate in the program. Opinion leaders and surgeons with profound experience in their specific fields, spoke in detail about body contouring, liposuction and liposculpture—from abdominoplasty to body lifts. They discussed various options for breast lift and reduction mammoplasty, deliberating upon the effectiveness and safety of these methods.
The course program focused on practical surgical aspects, the relevance and effectiveness of applied techniques, and advanced aesthetic breast and body contouring methods. The surgical excellence of the lecturers allowed them to demonstrate a variety of approaches to resolving similar problems, fostering a lively experience exchange and meaningful discussions.
October 24, AASURGERY guests went back in time for one evening and participated in one of the most captivating St. Petersburg traditions of the 19th century – attending a Salon reception. The atmosphere of St. Petersburg historic palaces is captured in detail, with music, social life, ladies’ boudoirs and gentlemen rooms. A true ball in the finest palace chic tradition was held at Villa du Prince. We would like to express our particular gratitude to the guests who followed the event dress code – you made this evening truly special.
October 26th, the AASURGERY course offered two programs.
The traditional dissection course, Breast and Body Lipomodelling. BBL with and without Implants, allowed participants to make use of their acquired theoretical skills under the guidance of Alexander Aslani, Timo Bartels, Natalya Korableva, Vladimir Golovatinsky, Vyacheslav Vasiliev, Akhmed Rakhimov, Alla Poberezhnaya, Yulia Lebedeva, and Vitaly Zholtikov.
For the first time since 2017, we held the Aesthetic Gynecology program led by Evgeny Leshunov. The lecturers, including Massimiliano Brambilla, Natalia Badikova, Natalia Valentinova, Svetlana Gagarina, Leya Dobryanskaya, Ekaterina Zhumanova, Ekaterina Iskra, Dagmara Kolgaeva, Ellina Kosareva, Evgeny Leshunov, Irina Maiskova, Tatyana Ovcharenko, Artem Permyakov, Elena Piskunova, Evgenia Fedchenko, and Rustam Shakhaliyev, spent 11 hours discussing the latest techniques, conservative and surgical methods in aesthetic gynecology. The program also featured videos: a cadaver session and an aesthetic procedures master class with expert comments from the program director.
