Richard E. Davis
(USA)

MD, FACS. He is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery) and has served as an Oral Board examiner for both organizations on numerous occasions.

Davis is presently a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), and American Academy of Otolaryngology. He has also been elected to serve as Southern Regional Director on the Board of Directors for the AAFPRS and its educational foundation. Dr. Davis is also a member of several other respected medical, surgical and professional organizations.

In 1999, he was promoted to Associate Professor and appointed Division Chief for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. One year later, he was also appointed Director of the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In 2007, Dr. Davis founded The Center for Facial Restoration, where he currently serves as the medical director. Although now in private practice, Dr. Davis remains active in the teaching of facial plastic surgery at the state, national, and international levels and continues to serve as Director of UM’s Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as Voluntary Professor of Otolaryngology. During his nearly 15 years at the University, he garnered numerous awards for teaching and clinical medicine and personally trained scores of young surgeons in the art and science of facial plastic surgery. Нis research in three-dimensional imaging of facial and cranial birth defects received first place honors from the Triological Society's Southern Section. Dr. Davis also received the UNC Womack Surgical Scholarship award for "excellence in teaching, research, and patient care". In 1992, Dr. Davis began training at Oregon Health Sciences University, one of the nation's most respected Fellowships in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Later that year, he also won the Harold Delf Gillies Research Award for his work in wound healing.

Since 2001 Dr. Davis took part as visiting professor, guest speaker, moderator more than in 71 professional events. In addition he is author more than 45 publications, journal articles, chapters and monographs.

Nazim Cerkes
(Turkiye)

Dr. Cerkes is past President of Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; Board Member of ISAPS and has been serving as Chairman of ISAPS Educational Council since 2010. He is Vice President of “The Rhinoplasty Society of Europe”. Editorial Board Member Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS), International Editorial Board Member of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery(PRS) and Aesthetic Surgery Journal(ASJ).

Dr. Cerkes worked as research and clinical fellow in UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) at the Department of Plastic Surgery between 1990-1991. Between 1992-2002 Dr. Nazim Cerkes served as Associate Professor at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and mainly worked in the field of reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery. Charles East

MB, FRCS. Charles is extremely experienced in aesthetic and functional plastic surgery of the nose (nose jobs, rhinoplasty) and is also an expert in nasal and sinus disease and how to treat it.

He is lead clinician for the Rhinoplasty service at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital and is also part of the craniofacial surgery team at University College Hospital Foundation Trust. He is also Consultant Surgeon at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital. His academic work includes being Honorary Senior lecturer post at University College London and he is course director for the University’s Plastic Surgery of the Nose and Techniques in Facial Plastic Surgery courses, which attract an audience from around the world.

He has served as UK Vice President of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and regularly lectures at national and international meetings. He has also been a faculty member at the Royal College of Surgeons for minimally invasive sinus surgery courses and is current Chairman of Facial Plastic Surgery UK, a committee at the Royal College, and is a specialty adviser to National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). The extremely successful textbook, Ear Nose and Throat – Head and Neck Surgery was co-authored by Charles and he has also written chapters in the British national textbook “Scott – Brown’s Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery”. His expert writing on Rhinoplasty, nasal surgery and sinus problems is published regularly and maintains clinical contacts in many countries to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and treatments from around the world. He is currently a board member of the Rhinoplasty Society of Europe and an active member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Nuri Celik
(Turkiye)

Nuri A. Celik completed his plastic surgery training in Istanbul University Hospitals in 1994. He was a plastic surgery fellow with Dr. Carraway at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk from 1994 to 1995. He studied brachial plexus and facial nerve surgery as a microsurgery fellow at Baylor College of Medicine between 1995-1997. He did a one-year craniofacial surgery fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin before he returned to Istanbul, Turkey to start his private practice.

He lectures on rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation, blepharoplasty and canthoplasty internationally. He is currently the Turkish National Delegate of ISAPS and has served as a Visiting Professor in India. He is in private practice.

Olivier Gerbault

Dr. Olivier Gerbault is a plastic surgeon in private practice in Paris, and is focused on nose surgery since 2000.

Julian Rowe-Jones, FRCS (ORL) is a world renowned specialist in functional and cosmetology nasal surgery and has been practising continually since qualifying from St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical School back in 1986.

Julian is a member of the British Association of Otorhinolaryngology (head and neck surgery) and a board member of the Facial Plastic Surgery committee (FPS-UK) and an allied speciality member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). Abdulkadir Goksel

Charles Thorne
(USA)

MD. He received his B.A. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry in 1974 from Yale University. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Thorne served for two years in the Peace Corps in Ghana, West Africa, where he taught science at all levels of the Ghanaian educational system. After returning from Africa, Dr. Thorne attended medical school at the UCLA School of Medicine where he spent an additional year pursuing a fellowship in Pathology and performing research in Immunology before receiving his MD degree in 1981. He then returned to the East coast where he completed a 5 year residency in General Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Thorne then took a residency in Plastic Surgery at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the NYU Medical Center from 1986-1988 followed by a final year of additional training in Craniofacial Surgery at also at NYU.

Dr. Thorne joined the faculty at NYU and opened his private practice in 1989. He served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Bellevue hospital for 10 years and as Program Director of the NYU Plastic Surgery Residency for 10 years. Dr. Thorne is currently Associate Professor of Surgery with permanent tenure at NYU and is Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Dr. Thorne has an international reputation for cosmetology surgery and for several areas within pediatric plastic surgery including ear reconstruction/otoplasty, giant congenital nevi and facial deformities.

Dr. Thorne has spent 25 years performing, teaching and writing about Plastic Surgery. He is currently Chair of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and served as President of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons in 2003. He has published 43 articles and 23 book chapters. Lydia Badia

Lydia was born in Spain but has lived and practiced in London since 1990. She is one of the most respected specialist rhinoplasty and facial surgeons in the UK.

Lydia was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in the NHS in 2001 at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, the National Postgraduate Teaching Hospital in the UK. She was appointed specializing in rhinology (nose surgery) which she has now done exclusively for the past 12 years. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer to the Institute of Laryngology and Otology, University College London and is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. Jani van Loghem

Jani van Loghem, vice-president of the Dutch Society of Aesthetic Medicine (NVCG) and chairman of its Complication Registration Committee and chairman of its Educational Committee, specializes in treatment technologies with rejuvenating effects such as injectables, liposuction, lasers and chemical peels. Jani is responsible for the content and execution of a 2-year curriculum of the new official medical profile specialism Aesthetic Medicine, which is held at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam and is supported by all medical specialties that work in the aesthetic field like plastic surgery and dermatology.
